Finishing Quests for an XP Boost at MoP Launch
The last tip I will provide you with is this, if you are trying to be the first to level 90 on your server it is important that you complete but do not hand in 25 quests however this will do you no good if you spend an hour handing them in so it is important that you choose hubs to hand in at rather than spread out quest givers. Dailies will not give as much xp as regular quests and chain / dungeon quests give more these are important things to consider when planning your quest route. In a week I will provide you with my hand in route that I will use at launch.

Do you plan on trying to be the first to level 90 on your server?
If you plan on trying to get server first 90 there is a lot of preparation involved both in game and outside the game. As my previous post covered a lot of in game preparation this post will cover the real life preparation.
I like to break this part into three different categories; Technical, Distractions and Consumption
Technical: This category focuses on your computer and other technology and how you can save wasted time.
> Make sure your computer is clean, remove unused unnecessary programs, old games and files. Make sure you are virus free and run a defrag, the less things taking up space the better your computer will preform and you should have a stronger connection.
> Next time you play wow, go to your desktop after you have warcraft loaded, right click on your tool bar and hit task manager from here select wow.exe and set priority to high, this will make your load screens a lot faster.
> Make a playlist of downloaded music that you like and wont have to tab out to switch songs, do not stream your music that will slow down your internet and when a ton of people are all trying to play the new expansion all at once in the same area you do not want anything extra using your internet..
Consumption: This category focuses on your personal consumption, how to save time while not doing anything unhealthy and not crash.
> Make a large filling meal that you dont mind eating a ton of over the next couple days such as lasagna, chili, stew or stirfry. The meal should fill you up so that you dont have to take a bunch of breaks to eat, and its healthier for you than eating fast foods.
> Avoid a ton of junk food, a little is okkay your body needs the sugar so a chocolate bar every few hours between meals but you do not want your body to sugar crash and you to start to get tired.
> Drink clear fluids for the same reason as you are avoiding junk food, stay away from energy drinks, large amounts of pop or sugary juice such as fruitopia.
> Consume some outside air.
> Be sure to leave yourself time to sleep, if you start to get drowsy or head bobbing go sleep you arnt performing at your best anyways you might try to do things you normally do and die or go the wrong way on a quest, either way you are better getting some sleep and getting back into it after you wake up.
Distractions: This category will help you stay focused on your task of leveling as fast as possible and give tips to avoid slowing down.
> Making a playlist of your favourite music will also keep you from getting distracted by browsing or switching songs.
> Avoid battlegrounds and any kind of pvp although they might seem tempting at times but they do not give good xp at all
> The worst distraction all is your phone, text once your waiting for all your friends to hit 90...
> Do not watch TV / Movies even if you are just listening to them instead of music if the movie is good it tends to draw you in sometimes.
Good luck getting to 90!

Are you going to try to be one of the first people to get to level 90 on your server? These are some tips that will help you do that. The easiest way to improve your leveling speed is to decrease your downtime, the other obvious way is to get direct bonuses to your experienced gain such as heirloom gear.
I am going to go over some great ways to reduce your downtime and thus help you level much quicker.
While you are leveling through new content you are bound to find lots of shiny treasures as well as venture on quests that are going to require you to loot items or use a item provided by a quest giver. The less you have to juggle items around your bags the more time you have to actually quest and kill monsters, here is what you can do.
> Create a bank character that you can simply mail all your items that you are going to want later on to sell or to use for professions.
> Download an addon that will auto sell your grey items and unusable soulbound gear, auctioneer has function that lets you do this but there are addons specifically meant to auto sell items.
> Clear as much room in your bags as you can before the release of MoP.
A good "leveling build" that includes a good spec and good gear is by far the most important part of leveling quickly. Your spec and glyphs should include talents that:
> Increase your movement speed and mounted movement speed.
> Increase the power of your self healing abilities.
> Increase the rate that you regain energy / focus / mana / rage and/or decrease the cost of abilities.
> Increase the damage of non Damage Over Time abilities and spells.
> Make sure to use buff food and a flask.
> Remember to use your cooldowns both defensive and offensive to help kill bad guys faster.
Travelling faster will obviously shorten the time it takes you to level so here are some ways to help you get around quicker.
> If your talents don't increase your movement speed, buy a boot enchant that does.
> Set your hearth to quest locations and actually use it, for most people your hearth is only a 15 minute cooldown.
> Use Swiftness potions they can help a lot if you are melee and need to group up some mobs quickly, they can also help when mobs are a little far but its still faster to walk then to pull your mount out.
> Purchase the fastest mounted speed possible.. even the expensive one
> Use swim speed potions for water quests or quests where you dive / try to end your quest route with these so you can hearth home to hand them in.
Do these things and you should manage to level a little bit faster :) check back in a few days and I will share with you a couple really helpful tips if you are trying to reach level 90 fast.
